Whoever did this, deserves to fucking die. I don't care why they did it because there is no god damn excuse for that- if that were a human, you'd be in fucking jail.
Carisbrook is a small town, and I hope they fucking find whoever did this.
And then let the community go fucking medieval on the bastards.
As I've said before, things like this make me ashamed to be a human.

OMG MANIFEST...just OMG!
I think whoever I was talking to that said it felt like an interstate con was right on the nail. I don;t mean that in a bad way- Manifest as it got bigger, seemed to me to feel like it had this sense of urgency- it was allways on the go, hurrying around, doing a bajillion things at once.
This year it felt more relaxed atmosphere wise (which is always the feeling I get from AV Con) like, it's a con, but everything is in it's place and you don't have to run around madly, people just drifted to what places they wanted to visit.
Cosplay, despite the tech probs and delays went really, really well, given I was on the verge of a panic attack 15 mins before hand due to the printer muckups and tech issues and I had somehow convinced myself I was going to epicly fail at it and the whole thing come crashing down.
Which of course it didn't! I just worry too much! Our judges and hosts were fantastic and Mina saved our asses running around helping us out when she didn't have too and keeping us calm and sane. <333 We love you guys.
Sunday ran much better of course, since we'd already done one day. I had a blast hosting the comp with Ilazki, and I'm really looking forward to making it better and more smooth next year.
Panels ran great! Big thanks to Teags for filling in since Pam was sick. We had an absolute blast, and the feedback we got was that so did the people who attended them. And, check it- half, that's right, HALF the yaoi panel attendees were guys. That is pretty damn aweosme having an even balance.
And OMG, check out Dani and kit's skit when they put it up. I was in the room when they recorded it (since we were all in the same dorm) and I thought it was funny- I hadn;t seen the slide show with it though and OMG we were on the floor cacking ourselves laughing.
WTF you guys seriously! You have to do crack!skits more often!
The giant Gundam was epic too! ^___^
Aw man, there were so many good cosplays, too many to talk about individually. You're all awesome! :D

So here's the deal.
If Watanuki turns out to be Clow, I get to say:
"I FUCKING CALLED IT, 2 YEARS AGO!" and then follow it up with "The greatest magician in the world was born from Syaoran's universal, multi-dimensional fuck up." Which in and of itself is pretty epic and awesome. XD
Mind you, given the last chapter... my brain, and I blame it on Manifest stress, went into crack!theory mode and decided it'd be funny as hell if Watanuki ended up as Clow and Doumeki ended up as Ass-chin.
I think I'd laugh myself stupid if that happened.
CLAMP, where the hell is my Tsubasa Yue?! We've had Touya and Yuki, now gimme Yue!

Ok, so I finally got around to posting about the end of Torchwood.
Partly been to busy too, partly been cosplay sewing. Can't be bothered going as indepth as I wanted to at the moment.
Besides. Having now seen it all I'm just left feeling a little hollow inside from it.
( I think we've just seen the death of Torchwood. )

Ok, so basically, Teags and Shadz have moved out due to health problems, and it's looking like our original plan has fallen through.
In short, we're back to square one- We need housemates. Atleast one. More than one is more than welcome too.
If you know anyone, please let us know~!

OMG Ianto, I have soooooo much <3 and respect for you right at the moment~!
I've gone from wanting to huggle him in his woobie fit to cheering like mad for him, in the space of half an ep.
(But I always wanna huggle Ianto cause he has such a puppy manner, when he's not making his snarky oneliners which are always awesome)
And not hateing Gwen in it... Which is so fucking weird that it's not funny.
Also, pick the new recruit. Yeah. I still miss Tosh though.

Might wanna fix your acting before you start ragging on a console you've never touched and calling it amature.
Mind you, I ROFLed at the "He helped destroy Transformers and Indiana Jones. Why do we care what he thinks?" comment.
Sometimes, ya gotta think before you put your foot in your mouth in an interview.

Yay~! Uni holidays~!
And what does AV do? Games Binge!
I'm on a serious Persona 4 kick at the moment. Ignoring the fact the ingame menu blinds me all the time, I really like the game. Most of the voice acting is decently (I said most: Naoto, you sound like a 40 year old woman, not a young boy.) and Teddie is just made of win.
It's retro feel is awesome, and it's surprisingly upbeat to the point of being rediculous for a game about solving murders.
And anybody who's seen me at all in the past months... probably already has heard me fangirl the Last Remnant, multipul times, so we'll leave it at that. Yeah, that kicks not going away any time soon (I can hear a particular housemate groaning XD)
(I bearly get time to play during Uni, and I have Rush and Dave waiting on the computer for me and Souji andBrosuke Yosuke waiting for me on the PS2... It's been so tempting to play instead of doing assignments... particually with TLR )

I dunno, this chapter of Tsubasa leaves me feeling queezy.
It feels unnatural and not right, and like CLAMP maybe are trying to BS us a little too much now.
Time Paradox, my dear ladies.
Oh, and there goes probably any chance of me getting my since-chapter-one wish to see a TRC!Yue most likely, since apparently R!S's parents arn't who we thought. Damn it, I want a TRC!Yue!

... I really don't want to have to ever say "I brought a PS3 for Tekken 6"
Mainly because, I brought the Wii for LoZ Twilight Princess, and since I've beaten that, I bearly used the damn thing(don't get me wrong, I still love you Nintendo, I still love the Wii and it's premise, but fuck, release something decent and interesting that isn't a kids game and is more like the lineup you used to have. I want my RPGs back) Seriously, it's gotten to the point where I actually have to admit I play the 360 more than any of the consoles I own... Do you know how much that hurts to admit?
But anyway... I think I'm starting to really look forward to Tekken 6 again, despite my reservations about the stupid direction Jin's story has taken. I've been watching alot of the trailers, and it does look really really good, and I'm kinda excited about seeing what they've done with Hwoarang in the game. X3
I just don't want to buy a console for a fighting game, especially one as overpriced and chunky as the PS3 when there's only probably 3 games I'd play on the entire thing. >_<
I swear, if FFXIII Versus doesn't turn out to be the greatest gift to gamer-kind...
It won't ever beat The Last Remnant though, not for me *hugs her PC*

Damn it, I think a certain Marquis of Athlum has given me a thing for tanned skin and blond hair.
The Last Remnant.
OMG, the game is... I think I love Squeenix again.
I'm getting the PC version eventually- it's upped alot from the Xbox360 one- faster, larger battles... better graphics... NO LAG.
Battle system = <3, Characters = <3 David's faux British accent = <3
Goddamn and now I have another cosplay. *shakes fist*. I love this game too much, and it's as far away from FF as possible, thank god.
(You hear that Infinite Undiscovery? You could have been this good!)

It seems strange to use Google Chrome when I've used Firefox for so long.
Don't get me wrong, I still use Firefox alot, but if I want something quickly, I seem to default to Chrome. O_O
Well that and I have about a bazillion saved tabs on Firefox.
It's odd because I didn't really like Chrome to begin with. It's weirdly growing on me.

Ok so I'm kinda slack with my journal, and it's usually my vent page but meh. I should really change that, so I think I will.
ANYWAY! The Axis Powers Hetalia cosplay group for Manifest is shaping up to be REALLY AWESOME! I'm really really excited about it. X3
I'm also really excited about the cosplay comp in general and all that jazz XD
Uni is going well so far, Workloads not to bad for now, I've been enjoying my holidays while I have them (Yeah, Swinbourne only gets one week, not two >_<). Decided to use my month free for Dungeons and Dragons Online. (eheheh the WoW subscription ran out and I'm broke)
It's not bad. It's a little fiddly on the control sensitivity side, and the elf laugh sounds like it belongs to a goblin (it's kinda creepy) but the game on a general level is pretty, and you have a personal DM so it sorta feels like a D&D session.
It'll be interesting. I don't usually play Eberron based stuff XD
On a plus, I got to watch Shadz torture himself with the Dragonball movie XDXDXD

America needs to stop making movies based on fighting games. Like NOW.
I gave up on the Tekken movie being any good a long time ago, but the King of Fighters movie I had a little hope for, till I watched the behind the scenes stuff.
Ok, here's some ideas.
Iori has red hair, not black.
Kyo and Iori are both JAPANESE- NOT AMERICAN AND AMERCIAN-KOREAN. Why the goddamn hell is Kyo AMERICAN?
Vice and Mature DO NOT look like they come from the DoA skank-whore roster, nor are they emo-chicks, so why are they now?
...and you guys want us to swallow the "OH we're big fans of the game, we hope the fans will see that through the movie."
*snorts* Yeah, not fucking likely.

Ok I really need some ideas here.
I really, really need to get a new tablet, as using my tiny Graphire3 is starting to really strain my wrist when I draw.
I've wanted an Intuos3 tablet for a while. Probem is, they're all still around the 500-600 mark, despite the Intuos4 being out for ages, and also being around the same price (500-700).
I found another tablet, that's apparently good, but that I've never heard of before. The brand is LaPazz, and they are half the price of Wacoms.
I've never heard of them, and I'm not really willing to take a gamble with something like a tablt on a brand I've never heard of.
However the price tag is more appealing.
Has ANYONE heard of LaPAzz and what they are like at all compared to Wacom?
Anything would help!
